- How you get it
- Uber app
- Las Vegas status
- Broad Las Vegas rideshare service. The Extra Super! BIG® price baseline currently uses official Uber route pages so the same fixed routes can be compared over time.
- Airport reality
- Airport rides are available, with pickups and drop-offs subject to Harry Reid International Airport rideshare rules and designated areas.
- F1 week
- Expect pickup points, travel times and prices to shift around circuit closures. Use the official event rideshare zones when required.

Rideshare is no longer just Uber vs. Lyft
Las Vegas now mixes human-driver rideshare with several robotaxi systems. The critical distinction is whether a service is actually bookable, rolling out to riders, or merely approved by regulators.
- How you get it
- Lyft app
- Las Vegas status
- Active Las Vegas rideshare option with multiple ride types. Lyft also supports scheduled rides to Harry Reid International Airport.
- Airport reality
- Lyft says rides to LAS can be scheduled up to 90 days ahead, with available ride types shown in the app.
- F1 week
- Use the event-designated pickup and drop-off zones when road closures restrict normal curb access.
- How you get it
- Uber app, autonomous vehicles enabled in Ride Preferences
- Las Vegas status
- Uber riders requesting eligible products in qualifying Las Vegas locations may be matched with an all-electric Motional IONIQ 5 robotaxi. A match is not guaranteed.
- Airport reality
- At launch, service included Town Square near the airport, not a blanket promise of airport-curb service.
- F1 week
- The operating area and qualifying pickup points may be especially important during circuit closures.
- How you get it
- Zoox app
- Las Vegas status
- Public Zoox rides are available in Las Vegas. Zoox currently lists Las Vegas service hours as 8 a.m. to 1 a.m.
- Airport reality
- Zoox publishes separate instructions for trips involving Harry Reid International Airport. Check the app and current airport guidance before relying on airport service.
- F1 week
- Geofences and pickup access can change around closures. Confirm the destination is inside the active service area before leaving a venue.
- How you get it
- Waymo app as rider access becomes available
- Las Vegas status
- Waymo began welcoming its first public Las Vegas riders on Sept. 14, 2026. The company described a nearly 24-mile service area and said rider access would expand gradually.
- Airport reality
- Do not assume airport curb access from the Clark County operating approval alone. Airport service requires separate aviation authorization.
- F1 week
- Waymo availability should be checked in-app because a broad regulatory area does not guarantee every race-week street or pickup point is serviceable.
- How you get it
- Not publicly bookable in Las Vegas as of Sept. 30, 2026
- Las Vegas status
- Nevada approved Tesla Robotaxi to operate as an autonomous vehicle network company in Clark County, with a first-year ceiling of up to 5,000 vehicles after permit issuance and required conditions. Tesla does not currently list Las Vegas among its live Robotaxi cities.
- Airport reality
- The approved geographic area includes LAS, but airport service still requires separate Clark County Department of Aviation authorization.
- F1 week
- Do not plan a Grand Prix trip around Tesla Robotaxi until Tesla itself lists Las Vegas as a live booking market.
- How you get it
- No separate Aviari consumer app presented here
- Las Vegas status
- Nevada approved Aviari Services, an Uber affiliate, for up to 1,000 fully autonomous vehicles in its first 12 months after permit issuance and satisfaction of required conditions. Treat this as regulatory capacity, not a claim that 1,000 cars are deployed.
- Airport reality
- LAS is inside the approved geographic area, but airport service requires separate aviation authorization.
- F1 week
- For riders, the important question is what autonomous product actually appears inside the Uber app at the requested pickup point.
A permit is not the same thing as a ride you can book.
Nevada approved Tesla, Waymo and Aviari to operate autonomous vehicle networks in Clark County. Those approvals include fleet ceilings, not promises that the maximum number of vehicles is already on Las Vegas streets. Tesla is the clearest example: it has Nevada approval, but Tesla's own Robotaxi page does not list Las Vegas as a live market today.
The official 2026 event guide says road closures make walking preferable where practical and lists these designated rideshare pickup and drop-off locations.
