The Full Story

An Extra Super! BIG® Founding 100 Story

Building a home around the details

The idea began with a need the founder saw in Las Vegas: flexible, affordable and comfortable housing for people away from home for work, as well as people moving through life transitions. The aim was not only to provide a bed, but to make shared living feel welcoming and considered.

The founder brought experience from sales, real estate, hospitality and business ownership. Before turning to housing, they operated a cleaning company with nine employees. That work, along with years of hands-on business experience, informs an approach centered on the practical details of managing a home and working with people.

In 2010, the founder began providing housing. The business later expanded into shared homes, airline crash pads and corporate accommodations. Its offerings include furnished rooms and temporary housing for airline crews, military personnel, traveling healthcare professionals, corporate employees and others seeking flexible arrangements.

Growth has come with the unpredictability familiar to business owners: economic changes and property emergencies. The founder describes adapting and solving problems, rather than expecting to avoid every obstacle. In a housing business, that resilience meets a day-to-day responsibility: keeping homes organized, comfortable and responsive to residents’ needs.

Las Vegas Home Share says it uses screening, clear household expectations, cleanliness standards and responsive management to shape the shared-living experience. The point is not simply to fill rooms. It is to set conditions for people to share a home respectfully, including when their work or circumstances bring them to the city only temporarily.

That service gives residents an alternative to traditional rentals and hotels, with furnished shared housing intended to be more affordable and flexible. For a city that receives workers on temporary assignments, the business’s role is specific: providing a place to stay while people work or make their next move. Its founder’s emphasis on hospitality connects the business’s early purpose with that broader mix of guests.

The founder says the measure of a good stay is in the small things: a comfortable home, a timely response and being treated as an individual. Las Vegas Home Share’s work brings those intentions back to the same starting point: making temporary housing feel more like a place to settle in.
