The Best Halloween Cocktails and Spooky Bars in Las Vegas for 2026

Las Vegas bars are turning Halloween cocktails into full-blown experiences this October.

Extra Super! BIG® Daily: Las Vegas

VEGAS CHANGES EVERY DAY. KEEP UP.

Local news. Business. Food. Sports. Things to do. Nightlife. Vegas life. One quick show every morning.

Follow once. Get Vegas every morning.

Vegas really did not need an excuse to make cocktails more dramatic.

Then Halloween showed up.

So now we're drinking out of blood bags, poison bottles, tiny coffins and creepy doll heads.

Honestly, I'm fine with it.

October is one of the best months to go drinking in Las Vegas because some bars don't just add one pumpkin cocktail and call it seasonal. They completely change personalities.

We're talking full Halloween takeovers. Giant decorations. Live performers. Horror movie energy. Weird glassware. Costume nights. Drinks that look slightly dangerous even when they aren't.

And because this is Vegas, the options range from a locals-loved Spring Mountain bar covered in Halloween décor to a supernatural hotel where the bartender might be the least strange person in the room.

Here are the Halloween drinking experiences worth knowing about in Las Vegas for 2026.

Best Full Halloween Bar Takeover: The Haunting on Spring Mountain

If you want Halloween without waiting until Halloween weekend, start here.

The Sand Dollar Lounge has transformed into The Haunting on Spring Mountain for the entire month of October.

This is not a few cobwebs over the liquor bottles.

The whole room gets the treatment.

Dark décor. Horror-movie nostalgia. Live music. Seasonal cocktails. Costumes. The kind of lighting that makes everybody look like they know something you don't.

The Haunting runs Oct. 1 through 31 and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

No reservation.

Which is cute until everybody else in Vegas has the same idea at 10:30 on a Saturday night.

Go earlier if you want to actually enjoy the bar instead of hovering six inches behind somebody waiting for a seat.

The Drinks Are Actually Interesting

This is the part I like.

The menu isn't just five variations of vodka plus something orange.

Widow's Whisper combines vodka, chocolate, melon, lychee, matcha, yuzu, cardamom, rose and absinthe.

Yes, that's a lot happening.

Somehow I want to know what happens.

The Severed Sun brings together bourbon, amaro, elderflower, sage, ginger, grapefruit and Lambrusco.

Clown Pear-anoia gets mezcal, aperitif wine, French bitter, pear, fennel, yogurt and lemon.

Scream-sicle goes tequila, habanero, spiced vanilla, bittersweet aperitif, carrot-orange cordial and chili threads.

Then there's Liquid Lobotomy, made with a house rum blend, falernum, pumpkin-spiced pineapple, lime and aromatic bitters.

That name alone is doing a lot of work.

And if you're not drinking alcohol, there are spirit-free Halloween drinks too.

Good.

Being the designated driver shouldn't mean getting punished with soda water and a lime.

Best for: A casual Halloween date, groups, locals and anyone who cares about the cocktail as much as the décor.

Where: 3355 Spring Mountain Road.

Best Immersive Halloween Drinking Experience: The Haunted Inn

The Haunted Inn at Palms is what happens when somebody asks, "What if the cocktail bar itself had a plot?"

And then nobody stops them.

The limited-run experience is open through Oct. 31 across from Scotch 80 Prime at Palms Casino Resort.

It runs Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. until late.

It's 21 and older.

And there is no cover.

Already cute.

But The Haunted Inn isn't really designed like a normal bar.

You are checking into a fictional supernatural hotel with its own residents, history and completely questionable hospitality standards.

Characters move around the room. Performances happen around you. Guests can get dragged into séances, mock murders, strange processions and whatever else the residents decide needs to happen that night.

The experience is intentionally unpredictable.

Which means your friend who desperately needs control over every social situation might have an evening.

The Drinks Are Part of the Story

This is where The Haunted Inn really commits.

Signature cocktails can arrive in poison bottles, blood bags, skeleton hands, glowing vessels, creepy doll-head mugs and mini coffins.

Apparently glasses were too emotionally stable.

The current drink lineup includes names like Lady Palms' Black Magic, Grandpa's Nightcap, Smashed Pumpkin, Blood Drive, Six Feet Under and A Toast from the Grave.

There are also killer mocktails.

And the food is equally unserious.

You can order things like Murder Burger, Cupcake Massacre, Vampire Repellant and Bite Me! Bat Wings.

This isn't somewhere I'd go because I desperately need a quiet martini.

That's not the assignment.

You come here because you want the whole room to entertain you.

Best for: Groups, Halloween dates, visitors and anyone who likes immersive experiences more than traditional bars.

Where: Palms Casino Resort, 4321 W. Flamingo Road.

Best Goth Cocktail Pop-Up: Black Lagoon at Jammyland

Black Lagoon is back at Jammyland in the Arts District.

And this one has a completely different mood.

Less haunted-house cute.

More goth cocktail dungeon.

The touring Halloween pop-up runs from Oct. 1 into early November and transforms Jammyland with monster imagery, dark décor and a special seasonal drink menu.

Entry is free. You pay for what you order.

The menu includes drinks like Moon Shadow, built around vodka, coffee liqueur, banana and cold brew.

Blood Dawn combines mezcal, blackberry, ginger, lime, sherry and absinthe.

Nightmare Fuel uses tequila, mango, green tea, lime and Thai spice.

Then there's Abyssa's Obsessio, with spiced rum, pumpkin, coconut, pineapple, lime and sherry bitters.

Very normal Tuesday behavior.

What I like about Jammyland for this is the location.

You're already in the Arts District.

So this works beautifully as one stop in a bigger night instead of forcing you to build your entire evening around a single casino property.

Have a drink. Walk somewhere else. Find dinner. Come back later.

Easy.

Best for: Arts District nights, goth energy, creative cocktails and people who want Halloween without casino-resort energy.

Where: 1121 S. Main St.

Best Halloween Rooftop Drink: Haunted Heights at Legacy Club

This one is only happening Halloween night.

But the setting is ridiculous.

Legacy Club sits 60 floors above Downtown Las Vegas at Circa.

On Oct. 31, it becomes Haunted Heights.

Think Halloween cocktails, DJs, costumes and downtown glowing underneath you.

The event starts at 8 p.m.

Entry is complimentary, although tables are available for purchase.

And yes, there's a costume contest.

The prize?

Five thousand dollars.

Suddenly that costume you're planning doesn't seem quite elaborate enough, does it?

The lounge is also creating Halloween-only specialty cocktails for the night.

This is the option for somebody who wants Halloween to still feel polished.

You can absolutely be spooky without looking like you fought your way out of a Spirit Halloween stockroom.

One important note: the venue has costume restrictions. No full masks that conceal most or all of your face, no simulated weapons and no full-face paint.

Know that before spending six hours turning yourself into a faceless demon.

Best for: Dressier Halloween plans, couples, rooftop drinks and people who want Downtown without doing Fremont at full volume.

Where: Legacy Club at Circa Resort & Casino, 8 Fremont St.

Best Halloween Rooftop Party: Ghostbar

Palms apparently decided one Halloween experience wasn't enough.

Fair.

On Oct. 31, Ghostbar throws its own Halloween party with DJ J-Bray.

The party starts at 9 p.m.

Entry is free.

There are Halloween drink specials, a costume contest and the whole Ghostbar rooftop situation overlooking Las Vegas.

This one is less theatrical than The Haunted Inn downstairs.

You're not checking into a fictional murder hotel.

You're drinking on a rooftop, dancing and seeing what everybody wore.

Which honestly might be exactly what you need after somebody served your first drink of the night in a blood bag.

Here's the obvious play.

Start at The Haunted Inn.

Then go upstairs to Ghostbar later.

One property.

Two completely different Halloween moods.

No need to spend half the night watching your rideshare driver circle the wrong casino entrance.

Best for: Halloween night, rooftop energy, dancing and people who want costumes without committing to a giant nightclub.

Where: Palms Casino Resort, 4321 W. Flamingo Road.

Best Halloween Cocktail Activity: Spooky Mixology at The Cabinet of Curiosities

If simply drinking the cocktail feels a little too passive, make one.

The Cabinet of Curiosities inside Horseshoe Las Vegas is offering a Spooky Seasonal Cocktail Masterclass around Halloween weekend.

Sessions are scheduled for Oct. 29, 30 and 31, plus Nov. 1.

The experience is built around creepy fall cocktails and hands-on mixology.

You don't just sit there while somebody shakes things dramatically in front of you.

You learn.

You experiment.

You make drinks.

Then ideally you walk away with enough knowledge to become deeply annoying about cocktail technique at your next house party.

Perfect.

The Cabinet itself already looks like somebody's elegant collection of weird things escaped from a Victorian mansion, so Halloween doesn't exactly have to fight the room.

There's also The Lock, the hidden speakeasy connected to the venue.

If your date night needs puzzles, cocktails and spooky energy but not somebody screaming into your face, this is a very good lane.

Best for: Date night, cocktail people and anyone who wants to do something instead of just sitting at a bar.

Where: Lower level of Horseshoe Las Vegas, 3645 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

So Where Should You Actually Go?

Depends on your mood.

If you want the strongest full-month cocktail pop-up, go to The Haunting on Spring Mountain.

If you want theater with your drinks, The Haunted Inn wins.

If your Halloween aesthetic is darker and more goth, Black Lagoon at Jammyland makes sense.

If you're dressing up and want something polished on Halloween night, Legacy Club is gorgeous.

If you want rooftop party energy, Ghostbar.

If you want a date where you're actually doing something together, take the spooky mixology class.

Honestly, this is one category where I would not pick just one for the whole month.

October has 31 days.

We can pace ourselves.

The Best Part Is That Halloween Drinks Finally Got Better

There was a time when a Halloween cocktail basically meant vodka, orange juice and a plastic spider.

We've grown.

Now Vegas bars are building entire experiences around the menu.

There are serious cocktail programs hiding underneath all the fake blood and skeletons.

That's the sweet spot.

I want it to be ridiculous.

I also want the drink to be good.

Give me the haunted hotel.

Give me the coffin.

Give me the fog and the creepy bartender and the cocktail that arrives looking mildly cursed.

Just don't hand me fifteen dollars of neon sugar and tell me it's Halloween because you put a gummy worm in it.

Vegas can do better.

This year, it is.
