The Vegas Golden Knights return to T-Mobile Arena on Thursday, Oct. 8, to host the Toronto Maple Leafs, followed by a Saturday, Oct. 10, matchup with the Los Angeles Kings. The games are the club’s next home dates after splitting its first two October games, and they start a busy month of home hockey during the franchise’s 10th season.

Vegas opened October with a 4-3 loss to Anaheim at home on Oct. 2, then answered with a 3-2 win at Vancouver on Oct. 4. The Golden Knights visit Seattle on Oct. 6 before heading back to Las Vegas. The early results give the club a quick reset before two home games against familiar Western Conference opponents, with plenty more hockey still ahead.

The Golden Knights’ official schedule lists both upcoming games for 7 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena. The Toronto matchup comes first. Los Angeles follows two nights later, with a commemorative puck giveaway planned for the first 10,000 fans at the Oct. 10 game, according to the team’s Season X ticket and giveaway announcement.

Two home dates, then a packed October slate

The Oct. 8 and Oct. 10 games are a useful early read, not a season verdict. Toronto and Los Angeles bring different opponents into the building, and the Golden Knights will get a chance to settle back into their home routine after a short road swing. For fans, it is the next chance to see how this Season X team looks on home ice.

The schedule keeps the arena busy after that first pair. Calgary visits Oct. 15, Pittsburgh comes to town Oct. 17, and Tampa Bay is scheduled for Oct. 20. Ottawa arrives Oct. 27, followed by New Jersey on Oct. 30. That is a full month of home dates, not one standalone weekend circled on the calendar.

The season itself began Sept. 29 at home against Chicago. The NHL’s announcement of the 2026-27 schedule identifies this as the Golden Knights’ 10th season and notes that NHL teams will play an 84-game regular season for the first time. Vegas is scheduled for 42 home games at T-Mobile Arena.

What to know about the Los Angeles game

The Oct. 10 game has one announced extra for fans: a commemorative puck giveaway, limited to the first 10,000 people in attendance. That makes arrival timing worth checking before heading out. The team’s announcement says additional Season X giveaways will be announced separately, so fans should not assume other October games have the same promotion.

The arena is part of the matchup

T-Mobile Arena sits on the Las Vegas Strip, where a Golden Knights game can be part of a larger night out. But the home-ice test is still about hockey. Vegas will want to turn its home dates into points, and the crowd will get its first October look at the team against a pair of prominent opponents.

The 4-3 loss to Anaheim showed how quickly an early home game can become a tight contest. The 3-2 win at Vancouver provided a response, but two games are only a small sample. The Toronto and Los Angeles matchups add new evidence, not a final reading on how the season will go.

The arena’s Golden Knights event page lists the Oct. 8 and Oct. 10 games, along with later October home dates. With five additional home games on the calendar after the first two, the building will get no shortage of chances to find its early-season rhythm.

For Vegas, the immediate assignment is straightforward: get through Seattle, come home, and make the next two dates count. October will bring a steady run of tests. The first puck drops against Toronto on Oct. 8.
