Fall 2026 Already Has a Serious Event Lineup
I used to think that fall planning meant checking the high school football schedule, finding a county fair and pretending a corn maze was not going to take two hours. Las Vegas handles the season a little differently. Here, the calendar runs through gaming technology, financial services, custom cars, health care and Formula 1.
The confirmed schedule from late September through November 2026 gives Las Vegas a steady succession of major gatherings across The Strip and the Las Vegas Convention Center. The lineup includes Global Gaming Expo, IMEX America, Money20/20 USA, SupplySide Global, the SEMA Show, HLTH USA and the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
That does not mean every hotel is about to sell out or every flight is already expensive. Las Vegas has an enormous hospitality market, and rates move according to demand, day of the week, resort and booking conditions. Still, travelers now have enough confirmed dates to identify periods when convention visitors and event fans will be arriving at the same time.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s convention calendar is a useful starting point, although the authority notes that its listings represent a sample rather than every meeting or trade show in town. Individual event websites remain the best places to confirm schedules, registration rules and venue details.
The Run Begins in Late September
Global Gaming Expo, better known as G2E, is scheduled for Sept. 28 through Oct. 1 at The Venetian Expo. The industry event brings together gaming operators, suppliers, developers, regulators and other professionals working across commercial casinos, tribal gaming, online gaming and sportsbooks.
G2E is not a public casino festival. It is a business gathering built around exhibits, education and professional networking. That distinction matters if you are visiting for fun and see a convention badge parade moving through The Venetian. You cannot necessarily wander onto the show floor, but you may still notice the added activity around the resort corridor.
The timing also gives fall convention season an early start. G2E begins in September and runs into October, setting up a sequence of large events with relatively short breaks between them.
October Brings Conventions From Several Industries
October is where the calendar starts to look like somebody kept saying, “Sure, we can fit one more.” The events are spread among major convention properties, but their dates create an active month across the resort corridor.
IMEX America and Money20/20 Arrive Back to Back
IMEX America, a trade show for the global meetings and events industry, begins with its Smart Monday education program on Oct. 12. The trade-show floor is scheduled to operate Oct. 13 through 15 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
IMEX is especially fitting for Las Vegas because it brings the people who plan meetings into one of the world’s best-known meeting destinations. Its audience includes event planners, destinations, hotels, venues and other suppliers. In plain English, it is a convention about creating conventions, which feels almost aggressively Vegas.
Just a few days later, Money20/20 USA is scheduled for Oct. 18 through 21 at The Venetian. The event focuses on financial technology and brings together businesses working in banking, payments, investing and related areas of the money ecosystem.
Visitors considering a mid-October trip should pay particular attention to that sequence. IMEX wraps up at Mandalay Bay on Oct. 15, and Money20/20 begins at The Venetian on Oct. 18. These are separate events at opposite sections of The Strip, but together they help keep business travel moving through the city.
SupplySide Global Closes Out the Month
SupplySide Global is scheduled for Oct. 26 through 30 at Mandalay Bay. The gathering serves professionals working with ingredients, formulation and product development in areas such as food, beverages, dietary supplements and personal care. Its expo hall is scheduled to open Oct. 28 through 30.
That puts another substantial industry event into the final week of October, shortly before one of the city’s most visible annual trade shows rolls into the Las Vegas Convention Center.
November Moves From Custom Cars to Health Care and Formula 1
If October looks busy, November does not exactly ease into a porch swing. Three confirmed events bring very different crowds to Las Vegas during the first three weeks of the month.
SEMA Returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center
The 2026 SEMA Show is scheduled for Nov. 3 through 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The trade-only automotive event showcases performance products, vehicle trends, equipment and education for professionals in the specialty automotive industry.
SEMA is the kind of show even casual visitors may notice outside the exhibit halls. Customized vehicles are part of the event’s identity, and the convention center area becomes a natural gathering point for the automotive aftermarket business. Admission requirements still apply, so travelers should review the event’s attendee qualifications rather than assuming it operates like a public car show.

Vegas has taught me that a bargain is only a bargain after you account for the fine print, the fees and the distance from where you actually need to be.
HLTH USA and the Las Vegas Grand Prix Share a Busy Week
HLTH USA is scheduled for Nov. 15 through 18 at The Venetian Expo. The health care innovation event covers topics including technology, policy, investment and care delivery.
Immediately after that convention, the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is scheduled for Nov. 19 through 21. Practice sessions begin Thursday, qualifying is set for Friday and the race is scheduled for Saturday night on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
This is the most important overlap for ordinary visitors to understand. HLTH attendees will be finishing their convention as Formula 1 activity begins along and near The Strip. The Grand Prix is not a convention, but it affects the same tourism corridor and introduces street-circuit operations that can change how people move around the resort area.
Anyone traveling during race week should consult official transportation and access information closer to the event. Road conditions, pedestrian routes and property access plans can change as race infrastructure is installed and removed.
How Visitors Can Plan Without Panicking
The smart move is not to book blindly because somebody says Las Vegas is “filling up.” It is to compare your dates with the confirmed calendar and make refundable plans when possible.
Check the exact venue. The Las Vegas Convention Center, The Venetian Expo and Mandalay Bay are not interchangeable. Staying close to the wrong one can turn a simple morning into a transportation project.
Review attendance rules. Many trade shows require professional credentials, advance registration or proof of industry affiliation.

For locals, this calendar is an early warning to watch traffic near the convention corridor, Mandalay Bay and The Venetian, especially during the concentrated stretch from mid-October through race week. It is also another reminder of what makes this city so strange and impressive. Back home, seven major gatherings across two months would have counted as the entire civic calendar. Las Vegas calls it fall.
The strongest conclusion is also the simplest: fall 2026 is no longer an empty planning board. Its major dates are established, several prominent events are accepting registrations or promoting attendance, and the calendar becomes especially dense from Oct. 12 through Nov. 21. Visitors do not need to panic, but they do have every reason to plan with the event schedule open in the next browser tab.
