The Ultimate Las Vegas Halloween Party Guide 2026: Where to Go When the Costumes Come Out

Halloween falls on Saturday in 2026, giving Las Vegas every excuse it needed to go completely overboard.

Extra Super! BIG® Daily: Las Vegas

VEGAS CHANGES EVERY DAY. KEEP UP.

Local news. Business. Food. Sports. Things to do. Nightlife. Vegas life. One quick show every morning.

Follow once. Get Vegas every morning.

Halloween in Las Vegas is already dangerous.

Now, put Halloween on a Saturday.

Yeah.

This city is not going home early.

Halloween weekend 2026 runs straight into the perfect Vegas storm. Massive nightclub lineups. Giant costume parties. Downtown madness. Electronic music. Live performances. Immersive pop-ups. DJs everywhere.

And because this is Las Vegas, the party doesn't politely begin on Halloween night.

It starts Thursday.

Then Friday gets louder.

Then Saturday basically detonates.

If you're trying to figure out where to spend Halloween weekend instead of standing on Las Vegas Boulevard at midnight asking your friends what they want to do, start here.

The Biggest Costume Spectacle: Sin City Halloween Ball

Thirty years.

That's not a Halloween party anymore.

That's an institution.

The Sin City Halloween Ball celebrates its 30th anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 31, at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

The 2026 theme is Lost Vegas Wasteland.

And if that phrase immediately made you picture post-apocalyptic showgirls wandering through the ruins of a casino, congratulations.

You're already getting it.

This isn't a normal nightclub night with a plastic spider hanging near the bar.

The Halloween Ball is built around the costumes.

DJs. Performers. Fantasy. Wild outfits. Multiple environments. Stage performances throughout the night. A crowd that understands showing up in something you bought three hours earlier at a drugstore is probably not the move.

Doors open at 8:30 p.m.

The event is 21 and older, and there is a real dress code. Read it before you build your costume.

This is one of those Vegas nights where the crowd becomes part of the show.

Best for: People who want Halloween itself to be the main event.

Where: The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, 4455 Paradise Road.

The Massive Electronic Party: ScAREA15 Strange Circus

AREA15 wasn't exactly normal before Halloween.

So you can imagine where this goes.

ScAREA15: Strange Circus takes over A-Lot, The Portal and The Wall on Halloween night.

Not one room.

Three venues.

Valentino Khan brings KHAN-O-WEEN back as the headliner, joined by Henry Fong, Fenik, Aquaa, Hector Romero, Rad Cat, Shapeshftr, Claire De Lune, Amiri Paul, Mihika the Freaka, Kitch N Sync and more.

That's already enough.

AREA15 also throws aerial performers, sideshow energy and roaming characters into the mix.

Doors open at 8 p.m.

The event is 18 and older. You must be 21 to drink.

Early general admission has been listed starting at $34, while upgraded GA+ tickets include perks such as expedited entry and a dedicated viewing area.

If your Halloween plan starts with electronic music and ends with you asking, "What exactly did I just see?" this is your spot.

Best for: EDM fans, festival people and anybody who thinks one dance floor sounds unnecessarily restrictive.

Where: AREA15, 3215 S. Rancho Drive.

The Free Downtown Monster: Costumes Under the Canopy

You do not need a three-figure nightclub ticket to have a completely ridiculous Halloween night in Las Vegas.

Go downtown.

Costumes Under the Canopy takes over Fremont Street Experience on Oct. 31.

This is basically the entire Fremont Street ecosystem deciding Halloween deserves its own street party.

And it's free.

The 2026 night includes live entertainment, a spooky silent disco, food trucks and one of the city's most visible costume contests.

This year's contest is offering $8,500 in cash prizes across three winners.

Now we're talking.

The 3rd Street Stage lineup runs through the day and night, with the costume contest scheduled from 10 to 11 p.m. before GLAM takes over until 2 a.m.

Main Street keeps running even later, with entertainment scheduled until 3 a.m.

This is the move if you don't want a velvet rope determining your entire night.

You can walk.

People-watch.

Hit bars.

Catch live music.

See costumes ranging from genuinely brilliant to "sir, I don't think that's technically clothing."

That's Fremont on Halloween.

Best for: Big crowds, people-watching, free entertainment and downtown chaos.

Where: Fremont Street Experience.

The Mega-Club Route: Five Clubs, One Halloween Weekend

Now let's talk Strip.

If you want the giant Vegas nightclub version of Halloween, Tao Group has basically built a four-day obstacle course.

The 2026 Las Vegas Party Pass runs Oct. 29 through Nov. 1 and covers participating events at OMNIA, Hakkasan, Marquee, TAO and JEWEL.

And the lineup is not playing around.

Friday, Oct. 30

Tiësto hits OMNIA.

Illenium takes Marquee Nightclub.

BigXthaPlug lands at Hakkasan.

Simp City takes over TAO.

DJ Stretch plays JEWEL.

That's Friday.

Halloween hasn't even happened yet.

Saturday, Oct. 31

Then Saturday turns the dial again.

Martin Garrix and Justin Mylo take over OMNIA.

Mustard plays Hakkasan.

Steve Aoki takes Marquee Nightclub.

Justin Credible hits TAO.

Phoreyz plays JEWEL.

And Martin Garrix is also booked for a daytime Halloween event at Marquee Dayclub before the night even gets going.

That's a ridiculous amount of headliner talent packed into one Halloween weekend.

But here's the thing.

Do not buy a pass and assume it makes you invincible.

Entry rules still matter. Arrival times matter. Capacity matters. Dress codes matter. Individual venues can fill up.

The pass is a tool.

It's not a magical nightclub passport that lets you stroll into OMNIA at 2 a.m. while fifteen hundred people are already losing their minds inside.

Plan the night.

Best for: Serious nightclub people who want multiple options across the weekend.

Best Halloween Night Mega-Club Pick: Martin Garrix at OMNIA

If you're making me pick one giant Strip club on Halloween night, this gets very hard very fast.

But Martin Garrix with Justin Mylo at OMNIA is an absolute monster.

OMNIA already has one of the biggest visual identities in Vegas nightlife.

Then put Martin Garrix in there.

On Halloween.

On a Saturday.

Come on.

The event starts at 10:30 p.m. and runs into Sunday morning.

This is going to be one of those nights where arriving early doesn't make you uncool.

It makes you smart.

Best for: EDM, huge production and the full Strip mega-club experience.

Where: OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace, 3570 S. Las Vegas Blvd.

Best Hip-Hop Halloween Club Pick: Mustard at Hakkasan

If EDM isn't your lane, Halloween isn't forcing you into it.

Mustard takes over Hakkasan Nightclub on Oct. 31.

Doors open at 10:30 p.m.

Hakkasan is inside MGM Grand, which means you're dropping a major Halloween nightclub directly into one of the busiest parts of the Strip on a Saturday night.

Translation?

Do not build your schedule like you'll teleport between casinos.

You will not.

Best for: Hip-hop fans who still want the huge Vegas nightclub production.

The Night Before: Thriller Halloween Party

Maybe your strategy is smarter.

Maybe you go hard Friday and let everybody else fight for oxygen Saturday.

The 18th Annual Thriller Halloween Party hits 24 Oxford at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on Friday, Oct. 30.

Digital Underground is performing.

Yes.

That Digital Underground.

The 21-and-over party starts at 8 p.m. and brings costumes, themed décor, VIP options and a full night built around one of Vegas' established Halloween traditions.

This could also be the opening move of a two-night Halloween weekend.

Thriller Friday.

Recover.

Lie to yourself about recovering.

Then Halloween Saturday.

Best for: People who want a real party Friday without waiting for Halloween night.

Best Halloween Hangout Without a Giant Cover: The Haunted Inn

This one's sneaky good.

The Haunted Inn at Palms isn't really a nightclub.

It's an immersive Halloween hotel pop-up.

And that's exactly why it belongs here.

The attraction runs through Oct. 31, Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. until late.

It's 21 and older.

And there is no cover.

You walk into a supernatural hotel filled with strange characters, interactive performances, music, comedy, creepy décor and Halloween food and cocktails.

You might get pulled into a séance.

You might get turned into a fake murder victim.

You might just drink something out of a tiny coffin and wonder how your evening reached this point.

Exactly.

It's also a strong pregame option before going somewhere bigger later.

Best for: Groups who want Halloween atmosphere without immediately committing to a full nightclub.

Where: Palms Casino Resort, 4321 W. Flamingo Road.

Best Month-Long Bar Vibe: The Haunting on Spring Mountain

Some Halloween nights don't need a giant production.

Sometimes you just want a real bar, great drinks, live music and enough Halloween décor to make the whole place feel wrong in the best possible way.

The Sand Dollar Lounge has transformed its annual Spring Mountain Halloween pop-up into The Haunting on Spring Mountain for October.

The Halloween takeover runs throughout the month with themed cocktails, live music and wall-to-wall spooky décor.

And because we're talking about The Sand Dollar, this isn't some corporate lobby bar that bought three skeletons from a warehouse.

The place already has history.

Halloween just gives it permission to get stranger.

Best for: Locals, live-music people and anyone who wants Halloween without the mega-club machinery.

What Kind of Halloween Night Do You Actually Want?

This is the decision.

Not which party is "best."

Best for what?

If you want the full costume spectacle, go Sin City Halloween Ball.

If you want electronic music and weird immersive energy, ScAREA15.

If you want free downtown madness, Fremont Street.

If you want superstar DJs and Strip production, hit the Tao Group club circuit.

If you want something easier and more social, check into The Haunted Inn.

If you're more bar than bottle service, head to Spring Mountain.

Different nights.

Different crowds.

All Halloween.

Do Not Try to Do Everything

This is where tourists get themselves into trouble.

Vegas looks compact on a map.

Vegas is lying to you.

On Halloween Saturday, traffic will be heavy. Rideshare pickup areas will be busy. Casino properties are enormous. Club lines take time.

If your itinerary says Fremont Street at 9, AREA15 at 10, OMNIA at 11 and Sin City Halloween Ball at midnight, congratulations.

You have created a Halloween transportation documentary.

Pick an anchor.

Build around it.

Downtown night?

Stay downtown.

Strip club?

Make that the destination.

AREA15?

Get there early and actually enjoy the thing you paid for.

Costumes Matter More in Vegas

Halloween is one night where Vegas absolutely rewards effort.

You don't need a movie-studio wardrobe department.

But if you're heading to a costume-driven event, put some thought into it.

Read the venue's rules first.

Full-face masks, replica weapons, oversized props and outfits that obscure your identity can cause problems depending on the property.

Nightclubs also have their own rules.

Your eight-foot demon costume may look incredible.

The security team might have questions.

Check first.

Halloween Saturday in Las Vegas Is Going to Be Huge

This is the rare year when the calendar itself handed Vegas a gift.

Halloween.

Saturday night.

Las Vegas.

That's almost unfair.

By the time Oct. 31 gets here, you'll have DJs playing across the Strip, thousands of people in costume downtown, performers roaming AREA15, a 30-year-old Halloween institution going off at Virgin Hotels and parties running into Sunday morning.

There isn't one Halloween night in Las Vegas this year.

There are dozens happening at the same time.

Pick yours.

Get the costume right.

Get there early.

And whatever you do, don't spend Halloween night standing in your hotel room asking the group chat where everybody wants to go.

Vegas already answered that question.

Everywhere.
