VEGAS CHANGES EVERY DAY. KEEP UP.

Local news. Business. Food. Sports. Things to do. Nightlife. Vegas life. One quick show every morning.

Follow once. Get Vegas every morning.

Activate has opened its first Nevada location at Town Square Las Vegas, adding an active, team-based gaming venue to the south Las Vegas shopping and dining center. The location opened to the public on Oct. 3 at 6611 S. Las Vegas Blvd., according to Town Square and the venue’s official location page.

The concept puts players inside interactive rooms for short physical and mental challenges. Instead of standing at an arcade cabinet, guests move through games that ask them to react, solve puzzles, coordinate with a team or chase a high score. It is gaming that expects you to get off the bench.

The Las Vegas venue is the brand’s first in Nevada. Its opening gives locals and visitors a group activity at Town Square, where a game session can be part of a larger outing. Here’s what the new attraction is, and what visitors can expect.

What players do inside Activate

Activate describes its experience as live-action gaming. Guests enter a series of game rooms and take on challenges that combine movement, timing and problem-solving. The venue’s current lineup includes games such as Hoops, Grid, Pipes, Hide, Mega Grid, Mega Laser, Control, Strike, Press and Scan.

The rooms use different formats, so the activity is not one long game with one set of rules. In Hoops, players try to make shots. Grid and Mega Grid put footwork and quick reactions to work. Other rooms lean on dodging, finding targets or pressing the right buttons in the right order. The mix keeps the experience closer to a string of fast challenges than a traditional arcade visit.

Built for groups, with a little friendly pressure

Players can compete or work together, depending on the game. Activate says its classic Open Mode is designed for groups of two or more, and guests can move between different game rooms during a session. Score tracking adds a competitive hook. You can go for the win, or just enjoy watching your friends discover that their reflexes have a loading screen.

The format is hands-on, but the venue does not promise one fixed level of intensity across every game. The room descriptions show a range of activities, from basketball-style shots to quick movement and puzzle-solving. Visitors can review the available games and booking options on the official Activate Las Vegas location page before they go.

Where it is and what to know before going

Activate is at Town Square Las Vegas, 6611 S. Las Vegas Blvd. The center’s Activate directory listing places it in the entertainment category and describes challenges that test physical and mental agility. The venue also lists a phone number, 702-605-0916.

Online booking is available through Activate. Check the official location page for current availability and details before making plans. Hours and other visit information can change, so checking directly is smarter than relying on an old listing or assuming every day runs on the same schedule.

Town Square already brings together shops, restaurants and entertainment. Activate adds a different kind of stop to that mix: one where the main event is playing, not browsing or watching. Groups can build a visit around a session, then decide whether dinner or shopping comes before or after. That flexibility is part of the appeal, especially for people looking for a shared activity rather than another seat in a theater.

A new kind of outing for Town Square

Activate’s opening expands the choices at Town Square without trying to replace the bigger attractions elsewhere in Las Vegas. It is a smaller-scale group experience built around rounds of play, quick decisions and friendly competition. For visitors, it adds another option beyond the Strip’s shows and casinos. For locals, it gives a group outing a more active setting.

The first Nevada location also brings the Activate brand into a new state market. Its Town Square address makes the venue part of an established retail and dining destination, while the games themselves give people a reason to plan around the activity. The center has another place to meet. Just expect the scoreboard to start talking.
