Hedary’s Mediterranean has reopened at The Gramercy, and JP’s Brasserie & Sports Den is scheduled to make its West Las Vegas debut later this month. Hedary’s celebrated its grand opening Oct. 2 at 9275 W. Russell Road, while JP’s is slated to open Oct. 24 at 5781 W. Sahara Ave., just east of South Jones Boulevard.

The two openings bring different news for west-side diners: a familiar Lebanese restaurant name is back in business, and a new neighborhood restaurant is preparing to pair European-inspired dining with sports viewing. JP’s website lists the Sahara address and says the restaurant is coming soon. Its opening date remains a scheduled date, not confirmation that doors are already open.

For diners, the useful takeaway is simple: Hedary’s is open, while JP’s is the one to watch. They are separate projects on different west-side corridors, not a single restaurant development or a sign that every announced opening is ready for service.

Hedary’s is back at The Gramercy

The return of Hedary’s gives the west side a reopened local Lebanese restaurant at The Gramercy, a mixed-use development on West Russell Road. The restaurant’s current location is at 9275 W. Russell Road, Suite 180. It marked the reopening with a grand opening on Oct. 2.

Hedary’s identifies its Las Vegas restaurant as Lebanese and Mediterranean. Its published menu includes familiar staples such as hummus, falafel, shawarma and kabobs, alongside dishes including tabbouleh and baba ghanoush. The restaurant also describes its food as seed-oil-free. That gives diners a clearer picture of the offering than the broad label “Mediterranean” alone.

What the menu says about the comeback

A reopened restaurant has to do more than bring back its name. Hedary’s current menu gives returning guests and first-timers a practical reason to take a look: Lebanese dishes and Mediterranean favorites, with options that span dips, salads and main courses. The menu is available through Hedary’s website, where diners can also find ordering information.

The new location places the restaurant on Russell Road, rather than asking diners to treat its return as a vague west-side reopening. It is a concrete address and an operating restaurant. That matters for anyone deciding where to eat tonight, not just keeping a mental list of places that might open someday.

JP’s Brasserie is next on West Sahara

JP’s Brasserie & Sports Den is scheduled to open Oct. 24 at 5781 W. Sahara Ave., east of Jones Boulevard. The project is described as a neighborhood restaurant and sports-viewing spot with European brasserie influences. Its stated aim is to sit between formal fine dining and a casual pub, with chef-driven food, beer, cocktails and sports on screen.

The concept comes from Gina Paul, who also operates Liam’s Den & Bubble Bar at the Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that JP’s name draws from Paul’s husband and his idea of a neighborhood “man cave,” centered on food, sports and gathering without the formality of fine dining. That description points to the intended feel of the place, though diners will get the real measure once it opens.

JP’s official hours and location page lists the West Sahara address and currently labels the restaurant “Coming Soon.” The restaurant’s scheduled date is Oct. 24, but anyone planning a visit should check its official page for current opening information before heading over. A target date and an open dining room are not always the same thing.

Two openings, two different stages

The timing puts the two restaurants in distinct stages. Hedary’s has reopened and is serving from its Russell Road location. JP’s remains an upcoming opening, with a published target date and a listed address on Sahara. Keeping that distinction clear helps diners avoid the classic opening-week surprise: arriving before the restaurant is ready.

Neither announcement needs a grand claim about a sweeping restaurant boom to matter locally. One adds back a Lebanese dining option at The Gramercy; the other is preparing a sports-and-dining concept on a separate west-side corridor. For nearby residents, workers and west-side regulars, both developments offer a fresh reason to look at what is close by.

Hedary’s has made its return. JP’s is next on the calendar. One is ready for a meal now, and the other has a date to watch.

Where to check before you go

For Hedary’s, the restaurant’s official website provides its current menu, ordering details and location information. JP’s official location page lists its address and coming-soon status. Check those pages before making plans, especially around JP’s scheduled opening, when operating details can change.
