The 2026 Las Vegas concert calendar is still growing
Las Vegas did not ease into 2026. It came through the front door carrying amplifiers.
Concert calendars across MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, and Virgin Hotels Las Vegas have filled with residencies, arena tours, multi-night runs, and one-off performances. Plenty of major shows have already taken place, but the second half of the year still offers a deep lineup stretching into December.
The names and rooms cover a lot of ground. There is pop at The Colosseum, hip-hop at T-Mobile Arena, rock at MGM Grand Garden Arena, and country, gospel, alternative, and R&B at Virgin. Back home, getting this much variety would require several road trips and at least one questionable gas-station sandwich. Here, much of it sits within a few miles.
Concert schedules and ticket availability can change, so travelers should confirm details through each venue before booking flights or hotels. Still, the broader picture is clear: Las Vegas has no shortage of live music left on its 2026 calendar.
MGM venues have major shows through December
MGM’s entertainment footprint includes several distinct rooms rather than one giant catch-all venue. That matters when choosing a show. Dolby Live can host a polished residency production, MGM Grand Garden Arena handles major touring acts, and T-Mobile Arena is built for the biggest nights on the calendar.
Dolby Live keeps the residency model rolling
The official Park MGM entertainment calendar lists several substantial 2026 bookings at Dolby Live. Mary J. Blige’s My Life, My Story residency has performances beginning in late August, while Sammy Hagar’s The Best of All Worlds residency returns in September.
New Kids on the Block also have October dates for The Right Stuff, their first Las Vegas residency. Marco Antonio Solís is scheduled for September 11 and additional performances, while Soda Stereo is listed for September 13.
That is a pretty wide musical spread for one room. You can move from R&B to arena rock, then hit pop nostalgia and Latin music without changing resorts. Vegas treats genre boundaries about the way a county fair treats calorie limits.
T-Mobile Arena and MGM Grand bring the arena tours
T-Mobile Arena has several large tour stops scheduled for the final months of 2026. Wu-Tang Clan brings Wu-Tang Forever to the arena on October 3. Weezer follows with The Gathering on October 23, and Olivia Rodrigo is scheduled for two nights, December 19 and 20.
The MGM Grand Garden Arena calendar is busy, too. NE-YO and AKON bring their Nights Like This tour to the arena on August 14. Alejandro Fernández is booked for September 15, The Smashing Pumpkins arrive October 30, and KATSEYE is scheduled for November 14.
These are traditional touring shows rather than open-ended residencies, which makes the date more important. Miss a residency weekend and another run may eventually appear. Miss a one-night arena stop and your backup plan might involve airfare to Phoenix.
Caesars Palace remains a residency heavyweight
Caesars Entertainment opened 2026 with a substantial Colosseum schedule that included Jennifer Lopez, Blake Shelton, and Def Leppard. Those early runs helped establish the year’s pace, but the venue’s calendar continues well beyond winter and spring.
Rod Stewart and LISA extend the Colosseum calendar
Rod Stewart added six Colosseum performances scheduled from August 18 through August 29. The dates continue The Encore Shows, giving fans another late-summer opportunity to catch one of the venue’s most familiar headliners.
Later in the year, LISA brings VIVA LA LISA to The Colosseum on November 13, 14, 27, and 28. Caesars announced the run as the first Las Vegas residency by a K-pop artist, adding a genuinely new lane to the city’s residency business.
The contrast between Stewart and LISA says a lot about the modern Colosseum. The room can lean into classic Vegas headliner history one month, then turn around and welcome a global pop audience raised on streaming and social media. That is not a bad way to keep a theater busy.
Check the venue name before buying
Caesars operates multiple entertainment rooms, and the branding matters. The large theater at Planet Hollywood is now called PH Live, not Bakkt Theater. The Colosseum is at Caesars Palace, while PH Live is at Planet Hollywood.
That sounds obvious until someone is standing at the wrong resort 25 minutes before showtime. Las Vegas properties can look close on a map, but the Strip has a special talent for turning a short walk into an expedition.
Virgin Hotels offers an alternative to the biggest Strip rooms
Virgin Hotels Las Vegas has developed a broad 2026 schedule across The Theater, 24 Oxford, and its smaller entertainment spaces. The property occupies the former Hard Rock Hotel site east of the Strip, and its main concert hall is officially called The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
The Theater mixes rock, country, R&B, and gospel
Death Cab for Cutie is scheduled at The Theater on August 6, followed by Anthony Hamilton on September 19. October brings the Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond, and Deitrick Haddon for Legends of Gospel on October 8, Treaty Oak Revival on October 23, and the Taste of Chaos lineup on October 25.
The calendar continues with Brand New on November 6, Gavin Adcock on December 10, and Sam Barber on December 12. That mix gives Virgin a different rhythm from the residency-heavy resort theaters. The schedule feels more like a touring venue, with distinct crowds rolling through from week to week.
Widespread Panic also played a three-night run at The Theater from May 8 through May 10. The booking continued the band’s long history at the property’s main concert room, formerly known as The Joint.
One important correction for anyone sorting out Vegas venues: Santana’s long-running engagement is at House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay, not at Virgin Hotels. These resorts host enough famous guitar players to make the confusion understandable, but your rideshare driver will appreciate the correct destination.
How to plan a 2026 Las Vegas concert trip
Start with the show, then choose the hotel
The easiest approach is to secure the concert ticket before locking in the rest of the trip. Ticket inventory and prices move independently from hotel rates, and a schedule change can wreck an otherwise tidy plan.
Staying at or near the venue can be worth paying a little extra. Park MGM is the simplest base for Dolby Live, Caesars Palace is the obvious choice for The Colosseum, and MGM Grand puts guests close to its arena.
