Luke Combs’ Category 10 is set to open at Flamingo Las Vegas on Thursday, Oct. 15, bringing a three-story country music, dining and entertainment venue to the Strip just ahead of Halloween. The opening celebration will run through Sunday, Oct. 18, with free line dancing and special performances, according to Caesars Entertainment.
The new venue is inside Flamingo at 3555 Las Vegas Boulevard South. It brings the Category 10 name, inspired by Combs’ hit song “Hurricane,” to a 34,000-square-foot space with seven interior bars, two stages and a rooftop. That is a sizable new country-music stop on a Strip better known for nightclubs and big-room shows.
What’s planned for opening weekend
Category 10 plans to open its doors at 11 a.m. Oct. 15. The opening-day program includes Dingo, who will raffle five pairs of boots among the first 50 guests to enter. Free line dancing and special performances by TJ Favella, Desert Heat and DJ Eric Rhodes are planned through Sunday.
The announcement does not list a Luke Combs performance. Category 10 is Combs-inspired, but the brand connection is not an appearance announcement. Fans hoping to see the singer should look for a separately confirmed show date.
A three-level country venue
The venue has space for 800 seats and a 3,000-square-foot rooftop with Strip views. Inside, Hurricane Hall is the main dining and performance space, with bars, a stage, a dance floor and free line dancing. The second-floor Still offers a quieter bar setting, while the rooftop Eye has a DJ booth, dance floor and bar.
Food and drinks are part of the pitch, too. The venue’s menu includes dishes inspired by Combs’ Appalachian roots, along with cocktails, beer and wine. The announced features make this more than a Halloween pop-up or a one-night party. Category 10 is opening as a full-time venue at Flamingo.
A new option before Halloween, not a Halloween event
The timing puts Category 10 on the Strip in the run-up to Halloween, when visitors are already building their plans around parties, shows and late nights. But the opening announcement describes a venue launch and its weekend programming, not a dedicated Halloween event. Anyone planning a holiday night out should check the venue’s official Las Vegas page for current hours and event details rather than assume the opening schedule continues unchanged.
Its location at Flamingo puts the new spot near the LINQ Promenade and other central Strip destinations. That makes it an easy addition to an evening nearby, whether guests come for line dancing, live music, food or the rooftop. No cross-town trek required.
Category 10 adds another distinct music-and-hospitality concept to the Strip. For country fans, the draw is a venue built around live music and dancing. For Halloween visitors, it is a new place to consider as the holiday approaches, not a confirmed themed attraction. The lights are going on Oct. 15. The Halloween plans are still yours to make.
