Luke Combs’ Category 10 opened Oct. 15 at Flamingo Las Vegas, bringing a three-story country music and dining venue to the Strip. The 34,000-square-foot space has seven bars, two stages, a rooftop deck and room for 800 seated guests, according to its operator, Opry Entertainment Group.

The venue is inside Flamingo at 3555 Las Vegas Boulevard South. Its mix includes live music, line dancing, food and drinks, with spaces spread across three floors. Category 10 is inspired by Combs’ hit song “Hurricane,” and the Las Vegas location marks the brand’s arrival on the Strip after its Nashville venue.

This is a new venue at Flamingo, not a move into Horseshoe Las Vegas. And while Combs’ name is on the concept, the opening announcement describes a live entertainment venue, not a series of scheduled performances by the singer.

What Category 10 Brings to Flamingo

The venue’s main floor centers on Hurricane Hall, a dining room with a stage and dance floor. The operator says it will feature live performers and free line dancing lessons. Above it, The Still offers a more intimate setting, while The Eye Rooftop adds a bar and dance floor overlooking the Strip.

The layout is built for more than one kind of night out. Guests can come for a meal, catch live music, take a turn on the dance floor or head upstairs for a rooftop view. Category 10 also has a retail area and spaces available for private events.

Food and drinks are part of the pitch, not an afterthought. The menu draws on Combs’ Carolina roots, with dishes including smoked ribs and a chicken sandwich. The beverage list includes cocktails, beer and wine. Menus and event details are available through the official Category 10 Las Vegas site.

Three Floors, Different Experiences

Hurricane Hall occupies the first floor, where the central stage and dance floor anchor the main room. The Still is on the second floor, and The Eye sits on the third-level rooftop. The operator lists a 3,000-square-foot rooftop area as part of the venue.

That range gives Category 10 a broader footprint than a single-room bar. It also gives visitors a reason to check the schedule before they go: the music and programming can shape the feel of the night. The official site posts event and line-dancing information.

A New Country-Music Stop on the Strip

Category 10 adds a country-focused entertainment option to the center Strip, where Flamingo sits among hotels, casinos, restaurants and attractions. Its identity is clear: live music, line dancing and food in a venue built around Combs’ brand. The location puts it within the Flamingo complex, rather than at Horseshoe as some earlier descriptions of the project suggested.

Opry Entertainment Group owns and operates Category 10, according to the opening announcement, and the Las Vegas venue is the brand’s second location. The company describes it as an entertainment experience inspired by Combs’ “Hurricane.” The opening adds a new stop to the Strip’s nightlife mix, but guests should check the venue’s current listings for hours, events and entry details before making plans.

Category 10 is now open at Flamingo. The Strip has plenty of places to turn up the volume. This one brings a distinctly country beat.
