The stadium has a listed capacity of 65,000. Not every event will fill every seat, but even a fraction of that audience arriving within a narrow window can make surrounding streets noticeably busier. The opening two concert nights have already passed, but the remaining events are spread across a Sunday afternoon, Friday evening, and Saturday evening. How to Get There Without Making Yourself Miserable
There is no magical route that turns a stadium event into an empty-road fantasy. Navigation apps can help identify current congestion, but thousands of other people have the same app and the same revelation. The smarter move is to decide in advance whether you are driving, walking from the Strip, using rideshare, or taking transit.
Reserve Parking Before You Leave
Allegiant Stadium advises drivers to purchase single-event or game-day parking in advance. Stadium-managed lots require a valid pass, and parking lots do not permit re-entry after a vehicle leaves.
Drivers should also expect event-day traffic controls. The stadium says some surrounding streets may be converted to one-way operation. Follow posted signs and traffic officers instead of treating a navigation app like sacred scripture. If your phone says turn left and a barricade says absolutely not, the barricade wins.
Do not assume a resort garage will be free, cheaper, or quicker. Parking rates and event policies can change. If you plan to park east of I-15 and walk, confirm the garage price and availability directly with the property before going.
Use Hacienda Bridge for the Official Walking Approach
For guests coming from Las Vegas Boulevard, the stadium identifies Hacienda Bridge as the best walking route. The bridge is closed to automobile traffic on select event days so pedestrians can cross between the Strip side and the stadium area.
The walking route is less than a mile, but September heat remains serious business. Wear actual walking shoes, carry water where permitted, and allow extra time. This is not Manhattan, and your cute dinner footwear is not going to negotiate with desert pavement.
Know Where Rideshare Actually Goes
The official rideshare pickup and drop-off location is Lot N, north of the stadium. That matters because asking a driver to improvise near a secured event perimeter is how a five-minute pickup becomes a group project.
After an event, demand and wait times may rise. The cleanest plan is to agree on the official pickup location, keep your phone charged, and expect a walk. Do not wander into active traffic lanes hunting for a car whose license plate you checked once and immediately forgot.
RTC Can Remove the Parking Problem
For the Raiders game, the RTC Game Day Express is the most straightforward public-transit option. The round trip costs $4 and serves regular-season Raiders home games from six designated locations. Service toward Allegiant Stadium begins three hours before kickoff and ends one hour before kickoff. Return buses operate for up to 40 minutes after the game.
That last departure time matters. This is not a subway line where another train appears because you sprinted dramatically down the stairs. Miss the service window and you need another plan.
Game Day Express is limited to eligible regular-season home games, so it is not the concert solution for September 18 or September 26. For Strip travel, the stadium points visitors to the Deuce, which operates along Las Vegas Boulevard. Its closest stadium-area stop is near Hacienda Bridge at Mandalay Bay. Allegiant Stadium lists Deuce service as operating around the clock at roughly 15-minute intervals, with a 24-hour Strip pass priced at $8.
What Drivers Passing Through Should Do
If you are not attending an event, avoid unnecessary trips through the stadium corridor near arrival and departure periods. Exact congestion depends on attendance, road controls, crashes, and the normal unpredictability of Las Vegas Boulevard. There is no honest universal promise that traffic will be worst at one precise hour.
Build extra time into airport trips, work commutes, dinner reservations, and hotel transfers on the three remaining event dates. Check live road conditions before committing to I-15, and let current conditions determine whether a surface route makes sense. Blindly rerouting onto Dean Martin Drive or Russell Road can put you directly into stadium traffic instead of around it. Congratulations, you played yourself.

Reserve parking, use the official pedestrian and rideshare zones, consider RTC for the Raiders game, and stop pretending you can leave at the last possible second.
