August brings 18 Aviators games to Summerlin
Buckle up, baseball fans. August is loaded at Las Vegas Ballpark.
The Las Vegas Aviators have 18 home games scheduled during August 2026, including a season-long 12-game homestand from Aug. 4 through Aug. 16. That is a serious block of baseball in the middle of the desert summer. No filler. Just series after series, plus fireworks, giveaways, theme nights and a couple of pregame concerts.
There is an important geography check here. Las Vegas Ballpark is not in downtown Las Vegas near Fremont Street. It sits at 1650 S. Pavilion Center Drive in Downtown Summerlin, on the west side of the valley. That distinction matters. The August calendar is not evidence of a sports boom in downtown Las Vegas. It is a snapshot of how busy the sports scene has become in Downtown Summerlin.
The calendar is still built around baseball, as it should be. The Aviators are the Triple-A affiliate of the Athletics and play in the Pacific Coast League. But the club has wrapped those games in enough promotions and crossover events to make the ballpark feel like a nightly neighborhood gathering place. That is the real story here.
The 12-game homestand is the main event
The August home schedule opens with six games against the Tacoma Rainiers from Tuesday, Aug. 4, through Sunday, Aug. 9. The Sacramento River Cats arrive next for another six-game series from Tuesday, Aug. 11, through Sunday, Aug. 16.
Games from Tuesday through Saturday during that stretch are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The two Sunday finales, Aug. 9 and Aug. 16, are scheduled for 6:05 p.m. Times remain subject to change, so fans should check the official Aviators schedule before heading out.

The Aviators return later in the month for six games against the Sugar Land Space Cowboys from Aug. 25 through Aug. 30. Add it all up and Las Vegas Ballpark has 18 Aviators dates in August. That is nearly three full weeks of home baseball packed into one month.
Promotions turn each series into a different experience
Minor League Baseball has always understood the assignment. The game matters, but the night has to offer more than nine innings. August’s promotional slate swings hard at that formula.
The Tacoma series begins with Copa de la Diversión on Aug. 4, when the team plays as the Reyes de Plata. Bark on the Berm follows on Aug. 5, and the Aug. 6 game is a $2 beer night. The Aug. 7 game includes a postgame fireworks show.
Saturday, Aug. 8, adds a pregame performance by The Rock and Roll Playhouse in the plaza, featuring music associated with the Beatles and other family-friendly selections. The concert is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and finish before first pitch. The first 2,000 fans through the gates are also slated to receive Aviators and MrBeast-branded socks.
The Sacramento series follows a similar rhythm. Copa de la Diversión returns Aug. 11, Bark on the Berm lands on Aug. 12 and another $2 beer night is set for Aug. 13. That Thursday also carries an Emo Night package with a live DJ.
Raiders colors meet Aviators baseball
The strongest local sports crossover arrives Friday, Aug. 14. The first 2,000 fans through the gates are scheduled to receive a Raiders and Aviators co-branded jersey. That is not a youth football clinic or a celebrity softball game. It is a verified giveaway connecting two established Las Vegas fan bases.
Saturday, Aug. 15, brings a Nick Kurtz bobble-card giveaway, a hybrid of a bobblehead and baseball card, for the first 2,000 fans. The series closes Sunday evening.
The late-August Sugar Land series keeps the promotional engine running. Country Night on Aug. 27 includes a pregame performance by Sierra Black, mechanical bull riding and a $2 beer promotion. A blue-collar button-down shirt giveaway is scheduled for Aug. 28.
On Aug. 30, Love at the Ballpark combines the Aviators game with a private reception and group vow-renewal ceremony for qualifying Las Vegas Wedding Club members. The package includes game admission, food and beverages, wedding cake, commemorative photo opportunities and access to the ceremony. That is pure Las Vegas. Baseball, vows and wedding cake in the same lineup card.

Las Vegas Ballpark’s August schedule does not turn the venue into a full-time concert arena or a multi-sport stadium. Baseball remains the anchor. That is worth saying plainly.

The stakes on the field are real, too. Las Vegas won the first half of the Pacific Coast League season and secured a place in the 2026 playoffs. The Aviators are scheduled to host the second-half champion in a best-of-three league championship series beginning Sept. 22. Las Vegas Ballpark is also scheduled to host the Triple-A National Championship Game on Sept. 26.

Fan parking is free in the main lot east of the ballpark, off Spruce Goose Street. The venue estimates that its combined surface lots provide more than 2,500 parking spaces.
