The south end of the Strip just got its skyline back. W Las Vegas has reopened Skyfall Rooftop Bar & Lounge on the 64th floor of its tower, after a comprehensive architectural and conceptual redesign, and paired it with the debut of Living Room, the W brand's signature lobby lounge, on the ground floor. Both spaces were designed by Rockwell Group, and together they turn one tower into a full day-to-night run: cocktails downstairs from mid-afternoon, then a 64-floor ride up for sunset.

"With the reopening of Skyfall and the debut of the brand's signature Living Room, we are redefining what nightlife and the lounge experience look like at W Las Vegas," said Zoey D'Arienzo, Vice President of Food & Beverage for Mandalay Bay and W Las Vegas.

The Rooftop, Reimagined

Skyfall returns with warm, rich tones and refined metallic accents framing an intimate, modern cocktail destination built around panoramic Strip views, designed to transition from golden hour into late night. The detail most visitors miss: the live DJs are not an every-night thing. DJ performances run Thursday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. On a quieter night like tonight, a Tuesday, you get the same redesigned room and the same view, with a calmer crowd and an earlier close at midnight.

Downstairs, Living Room sits next to the arrival lobby and leans the other direction: botanical-forward cocktails and craft mocktails built on seasonal herbs, floral infusions and artisanal spirits. It opens at 2 p.m., hours before Skyfall, making it the natural first stop.

Two Menus Worth Knowing Before You Go

Each lounge launched with its own cocktail program, floral and garden-driven downstairs, bolder and more theatrical up top:

  • Mojave Muse (Skyfall): butterfly pea flower, kaffir lime infusion, Giffard Lemongrass syrup and Fever-Tree Sparkling Cucumber, crowned with a violet-infused gin float.
  • Dirty Little Secret (Skyfall): Beefeater Gin, Dolin Dry Vermouth, olive brine and orange bitters, with hand-stuffed bleu cheese olives and a caviar pairing.
  • Skyline Spritz (Skyfall): Grey Goose Vodka, Sarti Rosa, strawberry-lychee cordial, fresh lemon and peach bitters, with dehydrated strawberry and edible blossoms.
  • Rose (Living Room): a floral Lemon Drop take with Tito's Handmade Vodka, Giffard Crème de Rose, fresh lemon, Madagascar vanilla and house-made rose sugar.
  • Ube (Living Room): a tiki reimagining built on Mount Gay Eclipse Silver Rum and tropical citrus accents.
  • Raspberry (Living Room): botanical spirits, house-crafted raspberry syrup, fresh lemon and botanical cordials with a sparkling finish.

How to Plan the Night

The smart play is to treat the two lounges as one itinerary instead of picking one:

  1. Start at Living Room, which opens at 2 p.m. daily, for a botanical first round in the lobby.
  2. Ride up to Skyfall when it opens at 5 p.m. and claim a spot for golden hour, when the Strip lights come on below you.
  3. Pick your night by your mood: Thursday through Saturday brings the DJs, while Sunday through Wednesday keeps Skyfall open until midnight with a mellower room.
  4. Make a reservation for Skyfall, which the hotel offers through its online booking page, especially on DJ nights.
VenueSunday - ThursdayFriday - Saturday
Skyfall Rooftop Bar & Lounge (64th Floor)5 p.m. - 12 a.m.5 p.m. - 2 a.m.
Living Room (Lobby Level)2 p.m. - 12 a.m.2 p.m. - 1 a.m.

A redesigned rooftop, a brand-new lobby lounge underneath it, and one of the highest views on the Strip: a strong new option for a south Strip night, whether you live here or you are in town for the weekend.
